CLEANING AND DETOXIFICATION.
Cleaning the tongue is a recommended part of Ayurvedic daily routines (Dinacharya) for health and hygiene purposes.
The tongue is a mirror of your digestion. A white layer on the tongue indicates indigestion or wrongly digested food.
The rough layer covering the tongue is impregnated in saliva, dead cells, mucus, germs, microbes, dead white blood cells, bacteria, viruses and fungi, created by a build-up of food residues that have penetrated the tongue’s pores combined with the action of saliva and mucus.
Cleaning your teeth without cleaning your tongue is not proper oral hygiene. Ayurveda recommends gently scraping your tongue after brushing your teeth, preferably with a gold, silver or stainless-steel scraper.
Our tongue cleaner is made of stainless steel of the highest quality.
Instructions for use: After brushing your teeth, gently scrape your tongue. Drag the arch of the scraper from the back to the front of your outstretched tongue.
Maintenance: Wash after each use.
